MADAM JANET ONUWA

There is a general saying that Mothers who promoted peace always reproduce Peacemaker. Our story can never be complete without mentioning this wonderful woman of Igede land in Oju local government area of Benue state. 

A sweet mother, Madam Janet Onuwa will fondly be remembered in Benue State as a woman who stood for peace; we don’t mean lip-service peace but such that was modeled in her person and character and renown in Igede Community and which was later born into all her children. What we see today as Fountain of Peace and Leadership Development Centre was her vision made plain on tablets and which one of her daughters Mrs. Florence Enea Owarigbo has decided to run with. On the occasion of the formal inauguration of this Foundation, we are awarding Late Madam Janet Onuwa a posthumous honor of the ‘FOUNDATION LAYER’ of FOPALD Centre.
